Terms of Customer Data Processing
Types of processed data and purpose of processing Data processing on the website SIA "FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS", registered in the Enterprise Register of the Republic of Latvia with No. 40003536678, legal address: Šarlotes iela 3, Riga, LV-1001, Latvia, will process its customers’ data: name, telephone number, e-mail address, message left, chosen service type, original and final address, number of rooms or number of workplaces, information on the desired day of the transportation / relocation, the volume of the movable property in m2, in order to ensure communication with the customer and for the provision of services. Data processing to provide resettlement service FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS may require the following customer data to ensure a successful customer’s relocation and/or transportation of his/her household goods and personal effects: name, surname, form completed by customer, inventory, registered address, details and/or copy of passport, driving license or identification card. FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS will not be able to comply with the requirements of the law and provide its services to the customer if the customer fails to provide all the necessary data to be submitted to the customs authority or other public authorities in order to ensure the crossing of the border of the customer and his/her property, if the customer does not provide all the necessary data and documents required in accordance with the applicable legal acts. If the final destination of the customer is outside the EU / EEA, his / her data (name, surname, address, amount of transferable belongings and address of the final destination) may be transferred to FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS business partners (agents) for the purpose of providing the service in the country of final destination. Prior to the transfer of personal data outside the EU / EEA, FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS will conclude an agreement with the respective agent, including the necessary standard contractual clauses, to ensure adequate level of customer data protection. Transfer of data to third parties FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS can transfer its customers' data to third parties - customs brokers and customs authorities in order to comply with the requirements of the applicable legal acts and to ensure the lawful crossing of the border by customers and their belongings, as well as to agents on the basis of the agreement concluded between the agent and FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS in order to ensure the successful relocation and/or transportation of the customer’s household goods and personal effects outside the territory of Latvia. FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS can transfer personal data about its customers to law enforcement authorities to fulfil their obligations under applicable legal acts, but only upon a reasoned request and only in the amount specified in the request. Terms of data processing Customer’s personal data will be stored electronically by FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS for 5 years from its acquisition. FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS will store customer’s data, which is processed in hard copy, within 5 years from the data acquisition, unless the requirements of regulatory enactments specify other storage periods. After the expiration of the storage period, the personal data will be deleted from the FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS data processing systems, the documents stored in hard copy will be disposed or archived in the cases and according to the procedures specified in applicable law. Data update If customer’s data has changed during the provision of the service, the customer is obliged to inform FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS without undue delay in order to provide the necessary documentation required to the authorities and business partners in order to ensure the effective provision of the service. Communication to FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS on data protection issues To receive information about processing of his/her data, the customer may contact FF INTERNATIONAL MOVERS by email: info@ff-group.lv The customer has the right to request data rectification, deletion in cases where there is no longer a legal basis for data processing, or data was originally obtained illegally, ask to block data, and ask for a copy of his/her data or ask to transfer data to another data processor. In order to protect his/her rights to privacy, customer has the right to contact the supervisory authority - the Data State Inspectorate. |
